Privacy Policy

The short version

Invoicly is an invoicing tool. To work properly, it needs to store the invoices you create, the clients you add, and the payment records you track. That data belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than running the product.

What we collect

When you use Invoicly, we collect:

• Your account details (name and email address)
• Invoice data you create (line items, amounts, dates, descriptions)
• Client details you add (names, company names, email addresses, billing addresses)
• Payment records you log within the app
• Basic usage data (which features you use, error logs) to help us improve the product

We do not collect payment card details. Any payments processed through the app are handled by our payment partners, subject to their own privacy policies.

How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to the BasiratAI team and only when necessary to maintain or support the product.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, you can request a full export before deletion. We will delete your data within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request.

AI processing

Invoicly uses AI to generate invoice content from your descriptions. When you use this feature, the text you enter is sent to an AI processing service via API. We use reputable providers and do not allow your data to be used to train third-party AI models.

AI-generated content is always shown to you before anything is sent. Nothing is sent to your clients without your review and confirmation.

Third-party services

Invoicly uses a small number of third-party services to operate:

• AI processing for invoice generation (via API, data not retained by the provider for training)
• Email delivery for sending invoices and receipts to your clients
• Cloud infrastructure for hosting and data storage

We choose providers who meet appropriate data protection standards. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile individual users.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Export your data in a usable format
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to how we process your data

Cookies

Invoicly uses cookies only for authentication (keeping you logged in) and basic session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before those changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
